JANUARY WHALE WATCHING

Two hours later everything was organised and captain Kalli stood ready to bring them out on a private adventure on board our boat Aþena.

SUCCESSFUL LATE SEASON

Autumn has arrived in Húsavík and new snow is covering the tops of the Kin mountains, straight across the bay from our fishing village. But despite the sometimes nippy air, the whales have still been many in our bay!Humpback whales are still around, coming and going – some of them really big.
