SUCCESSFUL LATE SEASON

Autumn has arrived in Húsavík and new snow is covering the tops of the Kin mountains, straight across the bay from our fishing village. But despite the sometimes nippy air, the whales have still been many in our bay!

Humpback whales are still around, coming and going – some of them really big. A handful of minke whales have also visited us and the four Northern bottlenose whales were seen again the other day. With other words: Loads of life to see in the bay for both crew and passengers in the late season.

We will still run trips for a week to come - until October 15th – if the weather allows. To get the latest information about tours and sightings, send an email to [email protected].
