A WONDERFUL LETTER

The other day we got an email which we are very happy for: "Dear Gentle Giants Team, We have been on your GG7 tour on the 7th of june and would like to thank you for the wonderful experience. We've been very lucky to spot the first whales just outside the harbour, but then luck turned its back to us leaving us with no sightings for a couple of hours.

PUFFINS NOW INCLUDED IN THE BIG WHALE SAFARI

"The Clowns of the Ocean" is what we sometimes call the puffins, because of their clumsiness above the surface and their big colourful beaks. Those birds are so popular by our guests that we have decided to include a stop by the Puffin Island during the Big Whale Safari tour.

IT'S A KILLER WHALE

Orcas, often called killer whales, are beautiful animals and probably one of the best-known whale species in the world. They are not so common in Skjálfandi Bay but sometimes make their way into the bay for a short time.
