HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
Today, 8th of March, we celebrate the 115th International Women’s Day and this year’s powerful theme “Give to Gain.”
As a female Head Guide and Captain at Gentle Giants Whale Watching, International Women’s Day is a good opportunity to reflect on the people I work with every day and the roles women play in the team.
At Gentle Giants, I’m lucky and proud to work alongside women across almost every part of the company — from management and captains to guides, and the ticket centre team.
Each of us brings our own experience and perspective, and together we help create meaningful experiences for guests while sharing our passion for the ocean and the whales.
It’s exciting to see more women embracing opportunities to grow, pursue their dreams, and be equally respected and visible in these roles.
To the women navigating their own paths — at sea or anywhere else — keep going, keep leading, and keep inspiring!
