BACK ON THE WATER
After six days of stormy weather and rough seas that kept us ashore, we finally left port again today morning! The weather had that cold, wintery feel — but with nearly no wind and calm, crisp air, it was a beautiful day to be back out at sea. Despite the chill and remaining swell, the bay had a peaceful beauty to it, and everyone was thrilled to be out there again.
And what a welcome back — we spotted around eight humpback whales during the tour, many of the same individuals that have already been delighting our guests in October (check out our previous post to learn more)!
After all these days on land, it felt amazing to be back doing what we love — sharing unforgettable whale encounters with our guests — and the whales clearly didn’t disappoint!
We’ll continue sailing once a day throughout November (weather permitting) at 10:15 AM for our GG1 Whale Watching tour. Hope to see you on board soon!
