FINALLY BACK AT MID-ATLANTIC
After three years of no Mid-Atlantic due to COVID, it was a wonderful feeling to be back at Icelandair Mid-Atlantic Tradeshow which was held in Reykjavík last week for the 29th time. It offers the ideal setting for travel industry professionals from around the globe to meet, work together and exchange ideas, right in the midway between Europe and North America, Iceland. This year around 1000 participants gathered together from 23 countries in total.
It all started on Thursday 26th January with the official opening ceremony in Harpa Concert Hall, with good food, networking and speeches.
The Friday 27th was the big tradeshow day with business meetings in Laugardalshöll Sportshall. Gentle Giants had a large and attractive booth and record many meetings with existing colleagues and many new ones. The experienced team Stefán, Daniel, Jóhanna and María represented GG with great success.
It is sure to say, that the interest and demand for Iceland holidays is high and especially the north Iceland with increasing direct international flights to the area. We proudly presented our company and especially our new possibilities for tailor-made adventures in Flatey Island, now having our brand-new environmental friendly house on the island.
The day ended with a gala evening filled with delicious food, fun entertainment, live music and dance.
Giant thanks to everyone who came to our booth and last but not least, the Icelandair organising committee for a great event. We are already looking forward to the next one!
