THE FINAL COUNTDOWN
November is flashing past us and in only a week our whale watching season 2022 is already over. November has overall been great with humpback whale sightings on most tours in great weather.
Now it isn't long anymore until also the whales will say goodbye to this wonderful place and their feeding grounds. Once leaving Iceland behind, they'll start their migration south into subtropical and tropical waters where they spend the winter months to mate or give birth to their calves – before returning back here next spring.
