ORCA ADVENTURE IN WINTER WEATHER

Orcas spotted by Gentle Giants Whale Watching in Húsavík Iceland

Orcas on today's tour. In snowy winter weather today, the enthusiastic crew and passengers on board Sylvía eagerly searched for whales but keeping expectations low due the conditions. But as we always say, wild nature is indeed unpredictable.

Suddenly through the snowfall captain Halli spotted a huge dorsal fin in the distance which turned out to be a pod of orcas. Everyone on board was happily surprised and experienced great sightings of these fantastic animals.

As guide Miro described it during the tour: "Miracles are happening".

It is a week left now of scheduled whale watching tours from Húsavík and we are happy to welcome you aboard in these last days of the 2021 season!
