Although season 2021 is still in full swing with daily whale watching departures from Húsavík throughout November, we are also busy preparing for next year. The 2022 whale watching season will start on April 1st and we are looking forward to it already. Although the COVID-19 status seems to be improving, there is still uncertainty and therefore we want you to feel confident booking online with Gentle Giants and offer you this flexibility:

Along with the bestseller whale watching tours on traditional oak boats and modern RIB speedboats, we also offer all kinds of other tours upon request. This includes sea angling, bird watching, as well as tailor-made adventures for luxury VIP guests and groups of all sizes and types. With our diverse fleet we can organize a wide range of activities such as corporate tours, filming trips and BBQ island events.

Apart from being a famous world-class whale watching destination, Húsavík is well located on the Arctic Coast Way touring route and on the Diamond Circle, with some of Iceland's highlights within short reach: Ásbyrgi Canyon (40 min), Dettifoss Waterfall (65 min), Goðafoss Waterfall (30 min), Lake Mývatn (40 min). Popular attraction in Húsavík is also the GeoSea geothermal sea bath. Our passengers receive various discounts by local companies in Húsavík.
