WINTER WONDERLAND
At the weekend, the first snowflakes of this autumn have touched the roads of Húsavík. Even though it disappeared again after a few hours, the drop in temperature has brought a winterly atmosphere to the town. Frost flowers decorate the windows of houses and shops whilst the roads and walkways seem to sparkle with the first sun rays of the day. The Cheek Mountains are covered in a thin white layer. From afar, it looks like someone sprinkled powdered sugar over the peaks.
Our whale watching tours continue to go out as scheduled with several departures to choose from throughout the day. Come and join us on an adventure at sea whilst experiencing the winter wonderland of Skjálfandi Bay, which will sure stun you with its beauty.
