How time flies! Our season has now been going on for a month and it is time to level up. We are excited to present some news from 15th April on.
The last days our beloved puffins have started arriving back for their nesting season. It makes us very happy as these funny birds bring a lot of life to our bay. From 15th April we add a stop by Puffin Island to our GG2 Big Whale Safari tour so that our RIB speedboat passengers can encounter the puffins as a bonus. It is often a very much appreciated addition to the whale watching.
From 15th April we also add another departure to the GG2 Big Whale Safari & Puffins timetable which means this tour is scheduled daily at 9:30, 12:30 and 15:30.
Your chances of finding whales are highest on the RIB speedboats as they can cover so much more area in search for whales within the same duration as other boat tours. We now offer a 15% discount on all the remaining GG2 Big Whale Safari & Puffins departures in April when booking online with the promo code WHALESPUFFINS.
And by the way, we also want to warmly welcome our guide Natàlia back to Húsavík. She will do her first whale watching tour of the season on 15th April!
