HOLIDAY FEELING ARRIVED TO GENTLE GIANTS
Only one week left until Christmas and the crew of Gentle Giants is sensing a nice holiday feeling getting stronger day by day.
It started some weeks ago when our Fleet Manager Kalli went around Húsavík harbour and decorated our boats and houses with colourful light strings.
In general Icelanders are very good at this, both indoors and outdoors. As Húsavík is located right below the Arctic Circle – where the sun never rises above the horizon in mid-winter – Christmas lights really help brighten up this darkest period of the year.
Last Saturday the winter staff and its partners were invited to a Christmas buffet in Fosshotel Húsavík. We were more than 20 happy people from Gentle Giants who enjoyed the super delicious food and cosy atmosphere together.
Now we feel that Christmas is around the corner and hope you feel it too.
Our boats Sylvía, Faldur and Aþena with their Christmas lights help brighten up the darkest period, here in the north of Iceland.
The RIB speedboat huts are decorated too. Here our RIB passengers get their safety equipment, but the surrounding area looks quite different when tours are on.
