"SEPTEMBER WHALES"
Even though the weather has had a few "ups and downs" recently, September over all surprised us with some days of perfect summer weather. Probably some of our whales were thinking similar and decided to calmly travel and rest on the surface. More than once a humpback even started to react curious and decided to extend its time on the surface to have a closer look at some of our boats.
Despite of some whales possibly having left already to start their migration south into warmer waters (where they'll spend the winter months), the bay is still frequented by numerous individuals - mostly our beloved humpback whales.
