SYLVÍA – MAINTENANCE UPDATES
Oak boats need a lot of love and care, and along with the annual beauty treatment, our boat Sylvía has been undergoing some big maintenance during the winter – all to increase the safety and comfort for passengers and crew.
After those changes, Sylvía will be fully renovated below deck to make the inside more spacious, larger seating areas will be on deck, the viewing platform on the wheelhouse improved and the boat's stability increased. Those improvements will give our passengers an even better experience out at sea.
Fleet manager Kalli together with captains Hallgrímur, Sverrir and Addi have been doing a great job with the maintenance and will make sure that Sylvía is nice and ready for her upcoming 11th whale watching season.
