SEPTEMBER FINISHING WITH LOADS OF WHALES

humpback fluke

September has been a successful whale watching month! Even though autumn has arrived, many humpback whales are still seen in the bay. Four to five humpback whales could be seen diving and surfacing in the same area throughout the month. Today however, up to 8 humpbacks were sighted and along that, a minke showed up as well!

Rare sights of this month was first of all the fin whale, which showed up out of the blue. The same day, 4-5 sperm whales surprised the GG1 Whale Watching departure on our oak boat Sylvía in the late afternoon.

From tomorrow (1.10.) on we will depart daily as follows:

GG1 Whale Watching: 09:45, 13:15

GG2 Big Whale Safari: 09:30, 12:30

Looking forward to welcoming you aboard!
