THE BAY IS ALIVE!
In the past days, we haven't needed to do much searching to find the whales and dolphins in the bay. It seems that everywhere you look, after only sailing for a short time, you encounter another humpback whale. They are busy feeding or delighting passengers and crew alike with exciting behaviours such as lob-tailing, flipper slapping, and even some breaching! On top of that, there have been literally hundreds of beautiful and playful white-beaked dolphins. The dolphins have also been exciting to watch, swimming along side the boats, jumping, and even showing off some young calves that were likely born in recent months.
It is a wonderful time to take a tour and witness Skjálfandi bay at it's best: teeming with marine life and excitement!
