MORE WELL-KNOWN FLUKES SHOWING UP

Besides the blue-fin whale hybrid and “Orion”, the humpback whale, which visit our bay since several years, another well-known individual has arrived in Skjálfandi Bay. As the feeding-feast near the mountains continues, more and more humpback whales seem to join the celebration. But early in the morning the other day we got surprised by the arrival of so-called “Snow White”, a humpback, which comes here yearly since 2012. The first year he showed up he was the star of the show, always curious about our boats or entertaining our passengers with some acrobatic activities. Even though he got way calmer since and seems to be more interested in the main purpose of his stay here - which is obviously feeding, feeding, feeding - he is still fun to see over and over again. Welcome back “Snow White“!
