GG AT A TOURISM WORKSHOP IN STOCKHOLM
"The world is a book and he who stays at home reads only one page". These wise words were embroidered onto a pillow in the big hall where yesterday’s travel workshop in Stockholm was held.
Daniel and I represented Gentle Giants at a tourism event in Sweden yesterday evening, organised by Promote Iceland. Thirteen Icelandic companies from within the tourism business welcomed local travel agencies to learn more about us, and Iceland as a destination.
The workshop was opened through a presentation of Promote Iceland. For the rest of the evening the local companies went around for spontaneous meetings with the Icelandic businesses.
We had many giving meetings and it is always fun to establish new contacts! The evening ended with delicious food provided by the conference centre itself, Lundqvist & Lindqvist.
Gentle Giants wants to thank Promote Iceland for organising the event, and especially all of you who visited our table. We hope to see you soon again!
