SPEED BOAT RESCUE DRILL
We turned the bad sea conditions into something good yesterday, when captain and guides working on our speed boats practised safety on board RIB Amma Kibba through having a rescue drill.
We saved each other from the sea, practised climbing the ladder, how to put the rescue belt on in the water, how to lift an unconscious person back on board, went over all the safety equipment a.s.o.

Here are some photos from our safety session:
Happy guides! Fun to be on board all of us together.
Man over board! Guide reaching "passenger" with help from pointing directions.
Guide Ann-Sophie climbing up the ladder with help from me.
"Unconscious" Peter is pulled back up on deck by captain Sverrir and guide Sarah.
Well deserved soup enjoyed at Pallurinn, to warm up after the drill.
