Another good season has come to an end. This summer 2011 has been very nice regarding both whales and weather conditions.
Thousands of passengers from all over the world joined our various tours this year, experiencing the wildlife of Skjálfandi Bay. Our aim is always to raise general awareness and interest in whales and their habitat and last but not least, create lifetime memories. Of course, as always in wild nature and in a country with unpredictable weather, no two tours are ever the same and some tours are more successful than others. Overall though, we are proud of our high sighting rate this season.
