BACK ON TRACK + VIDEO
The weather gods were generous to us during our first tour of the year. 9:45 we departed with 14 passengers and entered a calm and sunny Skjálfandi Bay.
The bigger whales must have had a long lie this morning but we encountered several groups of cute harbour porpoises. They came unusually close (for being so shy) and our passengers - who knew that whale watching in April can be tricky - arrived back to harbour with smiles on their faces. We had a great first tour of 2011.
Now our whale watching season is running daily and will be – until the autumn.
