Great news from the bay - blue whales have been spotted! Perfect weather conditions, loads of whales and happy passengers ... what more can you ask for?

For the last years the big blues have arrived into the bay in the beginning of June. This year is no exception and several blue whales have been spotted today. Both passengers and crew were thrilled being able to be in the presence of the biggest animals on earth. Moments of a lifetime.

Not only blue whales have made themselves at home in Skjálfandi, but also humpbacks, minke whales and dolphins. This is all very promising and hopefully this festival will continue …
